EV Prices In Nepal — From High To Low
Going full electric in the transportation sector has been a stated goal of the Nepali government for some time now. This year, we even saw some progressive new tax policies that drastically reduced the tax burden on electric vehicles or EVs.
In line with these government resolutions, auto companies are also offering more and more selections for customers in the growing EV market. So, here is a brief overview of some major options in the Nepali EV market — from the budget to the luxury range.
A. Budget Range
When it comes to EVs, there have been a few choices available in Nepal since before the global push towards electric transport. These vehicles were made available at an appealing rate. Today, you can be an EV owner for as little as 19.5 lakhs.

The most exciting EV models currently available in Nepal are available between 50 and 80 lakhs. Most of the models in this range have been introduced quite recently, and offer an amazing balance of performance and features versus cost.
